Career Services

The Heinz School Career Services Office will work with you to explore your goals, identify employment opportunities, and provide you with the skills needed in your career search. The office provides individual counseling that is tailored to the needs of each student. Workshops, panel discussions, networking events and individual counseling will help you strengthen your job search skills and provide exposure to potential employers.

A large number of directories, online databases and newsletters are available through Career Services to assist you in researching and securing a position.

Networking Events

For years, the Heinz School hosts networking events in Pittsburgh, Washington DC and New York City for students, employers, internship hosts and alumni of its degree programs.  Networking events are held in Los Angeles for MEIM students and representatives from the entertainment industry. All of these networking are tremendous opportunities for you to begin establishing critical professional contacts.
